Eighteen participants of Mongolia Field School attended the Wilderness First Responder Course on Sunday, July 28 at the Natsagdorj Public Library. The training was delivered by Trenton Harper from Aerie Medicine, a U.S. wilderness medical training and first-aid supply organization, and included both outdoor and indoor demonstrations of first aid responses in emergency scenarios so that participants can remain safe in the wilderness. The objective of the Emergency Wilderness Medicine Essentials Course was to make the research work in the remote parts of Mongolia safer for researchers and scholars.
