Nutritional epidemiology in low- and middle-income regions, with substantive areas in nutrition surveillance, dietary and micronutrient deficiencies, measures of dietary quality and food security, maternal and child health and development, calcium and vitamin D, tuberculosis, central and south Asia, and intersections between nutritional, environmental, and infectious disease epidemiology. I have international experience in development, validation, administration, and analysis of different dietary assessment methods, application of household consumption and national food balance data to nutrition research, food fortification modeling and program design, compilation of food composition data, and advanced epidemiologic and statistical methods.
