I am a PhD student of social anthropology currently carrying out my fieldwork looking at reproductive healthcare in Ulaanbaatar. My interests cover the direct issues of availability, access and (in)formality as well as broader themes of kinship, gender and personhood. As part of my MA dissertation (2013) I studied tourism at the Dukha summer camp in Northern Mongolia with a focus on selves, spatial relations and consumerism bringing together the anthropology of the imagination and tourism.
