The Heritage and Collections in Mongolian Museums (National Museum of Mongolia, Zanabazar Fine Arts Museum, Bogd Khani Palace Museum) throughout History.
This research concerns Heritage as a cultural identity medium, thanks to historic, cultural sources and technical museologic tools.
Practices of nomadic pastoralism shaped cultural, social and economical patterns and structures all through the wide spaces between Europe and Asia. Beyond questions of cultural and ideological transfers in present-day, Mongolian management of museums raises questions about processing on the cultural heritage, since their creation in the 1920’s.
A progressive approach will help to understand the transmission of values from traditional society until nowadays.
