Dr. Jennifer Lander
Lecturer in Law, De Montfort University (UK)
Jennifer is a socio-legal researcher working at the intersections of law, development and globalisation, with particular interest in so-called “frontier” economies. Her current research focuses on the influence of transnational legal norms on Mongolia’s mining governance regime.
Prior to joining Leicester De Montfort Law School, Jennifer received her PhD from the University of Warwick (2013-2017). Her doctoral thesis examined the constitutional and democratic implications of integration in the global mining economy for the Mongolian state.
