National Investment Bank is a privately owned investment bank based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

National Investment Bank began operations in 2002 as a branch of the Russian Menatep Bank. By 2005, bank capital increased to USD 7.2 million. On July 7, 2006, by order of the Bank of Mongolia, the Bank became National Investment Bank of Mongolia.

As of December 2006, total assets reached MNT 17.9 billion and outstanding loans amounted to MNT 7.6 billion.[1]

In August 2007, the Bank had approximately 428 customers and 39 creditors.[2]

Near the end of 2007, the Bank announced that it would be connected to the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), which is a worldwide financial network known for marketing software and services to financial institutions.[3]

National Investment Bank offers many different types of products to its customers, such as loans and consulting services. However, it does not offer personal savings accounts.[4]
