The American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian White as our new US Director and the opening of its US office at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison). The ACMS US office was previously located at Western Washington University (WWU) in Bellingham.

The UW-Madison’s Center for East Asian Studies will serve as the host for the ACMS on campus. UW-Madison operates eight Title VI National Resource Centers for international studies, has a large student body, and excels as a major research institution making it an ideal place for promoting increased scholarship in and about Mongolia. The ACMS will be joining the American Institute for Pakistan Studies at UW-Madison.
